Hey all, I was rummaging through the morass that is this ridiculous Xbox One Controller Driver issue and after having updated Windows (which is now apparently the only way to get the driver on Windows 7, bravo) my controller would connect to the PC, Windows recognized it but it simply wouldnt respond.

A green light on the receiver indicates that the unit is working.
